Graduate Recruitment

We are looking for a recent graduate or current final year undergraduate to join our firm with an initially broad mandate across all aspects of our business, including research, trading, compliance, sales and marketing. The initial salary will be highly competitive but will be scaled according to what we believe to be the quality of the candidate. Therefore the range is an open-ended one. The position offered will be a permanent one. Although the package will initially be salary only, ultimately there will be bonus payments, in addition to pension and health benefits. Finally, employees who have shown an extraordinary level of achievement over time will be offered the opportunity to purchase company equity.

The right candidate will have earned at least 500 points in their Leaving Certificate, if educated in Ireland, including at least a B in Higher Level Mathematics. In addition, they will have earned a 2.1 Honours undergraduate degree from a major university (final year students will have recorded similar grades in their previous years). The course of study at undergraduate level need not necessarily be business or finance related. Some business experience and fluency in other languages is preferred, but is not essential. Public speaking or other presentational ability is also highly valued. Most importantly, they will be entrepreneurial and comfortable with a high degree of responsibility and accountability from the moment they join the firm.

Salesperson - Dublin & New York

We are currently seeking applications for a full-time sales position. The role will involve the cultivation and maintenance of long-term relationships with institutional and retail clients globally. After an initial 3 month period spent in the Dublin office, the right candidate will then be spending 50% of his or her time in the US in our New York branch, servicing existing relationships.

Sales experience is not necessarily required as extensive sales training will be given on the job. However, comfort with medium-level mathematics is essential given the quantitative nature of our business. With that in mind, candidates must have at least a B in Higher Level Mathematics, as well as at least 500 points overall. The exact course of undergraduate study is not relevant, but a reasonable level of achievement must be evident. Also, the role will involve a great deal of presentations to large groups and other public speaking.

More than anything else, this is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual as a great deal of individual responsibility will be given almost immediately. The upside is considerable, as it is directly linked to sales revenues created. The growth in the hedge fund industry over the last 15 years is expected to continue and so earnings capability will match anything available in Ireland currently.
